ReFabricated with headphones on. Oh my giddy aunt! 😍 Just helped me get through a pile of ironing. Absolutely stunning album. So diverse and so brilliant in every way.
CUE DOT SERIES - CUE DOT XIII
=========================
Over a year in the planning this album has been one of our most logistically challenging projects since we started the series.
It features every artist who's contributed to the Cue Dot Series to date.
Each has taken a track from their fellow artists Cue Dot release and remixed, reimagined, reconstructed, or if you will, re-fabricated it.
Along with these tracks we have guest contributions from the Liverpool based producer Lo Five together with the legendary producer and techno pioneer Graham Massey from 808 State.
The album is very much a celebration of community and those within it who've supported our series to date.

"Cue Dot has managed, despite everything, to set quite the standard for new electronic music in the UK" - Carl Griffin, Electronic Sound
"The creative spirit of these artists shines through in both explicit and subtle ways" - Ben Hogwood, Arcana
"Taking a track from another artist and reshaping it, creating new life from something already formed. It shows how it is possible to take pre-existing forms and create something more than a Xerox copy" - Paul Laird, Our Sound Music

All music created by human, machine and beautiful endeavour

This album caught my eye and ear as someone who grew up living in a new town in Hertfordshire and now lives in new city in Egypt. The album encapsulates a sense of the doomed promise of such ventures, and the way in which such synthetic managerial ways to constructing a culture through architecture always sow the seeds of their own failure. The music resonates this duality perfectly - the beauty of the utopian dreams that birthed such cities, but the grim experience of their realities. nujumi

So wonderfully put together you don't realize the ingenuity behind some of the sound sources until you read the liner notes. Another fine addition to an increasingly expanding Radiophonic-like world. Anthony Childs

Such a great idea translating stamps into music. Four brilliant tracks hotter than a Bunsen burner flame. I would love to see this issued on vinyl. roblove1
Flush with lounge-ready arrangements and balmy, mid-tempo electronic grooves, Tom Lown's second studio album is pure Balearic bliss. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 17, 2022
Fueled by a fascination for polymetric tonal constructs, “Meter Meter” developed via a series of live improvisations. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 15, 2022

Hugely enjoyable companion piece to Eternal Return, with space given to allow tracks to develop and evolve. After listening to Eternal Return, you are left wanting more - and here it is! EdgeofMull
